Role Description:

Job Title: Electrical Assembler / Technical Support Assistant (Marine Industry)

We are looking for a versatile and practical individual to join our small marine industry business. This is a varied role where electrical assembly forms only part of the position, alongside technical support, quality, and stock-related responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical assembly, wiring, and basic testing of marine products as part of the production process
• Provide first-line technical support to customers, assisting with product setup, troubleshooting, and general technical queries
• Test, fault-find, and document returned products as part of the warranty returns process
• Support ISO-compliant quality activities, including following documented procedures, completing quality records, and assisting with continuous improvement actions
• Assist with stock control oversight, including receiving goods, monitoring inventory levels, and supporting stock accuracy
• Contribute to general workshop and operational tasks as required in a small-team environment

About You:

• Experience in electrical assembly or electro-mechanical work
• Comfortable working to ISO quality standards and following structured processes
• Confident communicating technical information clearly to customers
• Organised, adaptable, and able to manage a variety of responsibilities
• Interest or experience in the marine industry is an advantage
