The Role

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Project Manager to lead our growing Barcelona operation.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of complex yacht service and refit projects while leading and mentoring a team of three Project Managers. You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to Oyster's exceptional quality standards, while driving operational performance, profitability and outstanding customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of three Project Managers, providing guidance, support and regular performance reviews.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of multiple yacht service and refit projects from initial planning through to completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
  • Manage project planning, scheduling, resource allocation and risk mitigation across all active projects.
  • Monitor project budgets, profitability and commercial performance, ensuring minimum margin targets are achieved.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional levels of communication and customer service.
  • Escalate project risks, customer concerns and commercial issues to the Operations Manager where appropriate.
  • Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes, efficiency and team performance.
  • Work collaboratively with technical, commercial and operational teams to maximise customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Champion Health, Safety and Environmental best practices across all projects.

About You

You will be an experienced project leader who thrives in a fast-paced marine environment and enjoys balancing technical delivery with commercial success.

You'll also have:

  • Extensive project management experience within the marine or yachting industry.
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring Project Managers or project teams.
  • Strong knowledge of yacht systems, marine engineering and refit projects.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and profitability.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with high-net-worth clients.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software.
