As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Welder/Fabricator to join our experienced boatbuilding team.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dedicated team working on unique and rewarding projects within the marine industry. Whether you're an experienced fabricator or looking to further develop your skills, we offer ongoing training and support for the right candidate.

The role is workshop-based and involves safe access to boats using steps, ladders, and work platforms.

Key Responsibilities

As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be involved in all aspects of the boatbuilding process, including:

·                  MIG welding and fabrication

• Cutting, measuring, and marking out materials
• Manufacturing bespoke steel components and structures
• Working with mild steel ranging from 3mm to 10mm thickness
• Reading and following engineering drawings and specifications
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and accuracy
• Meeting production targets while ensuring quality standards are achieved
• Following established engineering procedures and health & safety practices

About You

We're looking for someone who:

·                  Has experience or basic knowledge of welding and fabrication

• Takes pride in producing high-quality work
• Has a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
• Is reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Enjoys practical, hands-on work
• Is eager to learn new skills and develop within the industry
• Works well independently and as part of a team

Working Hours

·                  37.5 hours per week

• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
• Friday: 08:00 - 13:30
• Enjoy an early finish every Friday
