Following the successful implementation of the Hire Boat Code within the inland hire boat fleet, it has been recognised that there is a growing demand from operators to better develop the understanding of the stability requirements within the code. In order to support British Marine members who operate hire boats we will be running a new one day course on HBC Stability Assessments.
The course will focus on the process required to assess the vessel against the requirements of the code, identify the routes to certification, how to carry out level 1 and 2 stability test and assess the impacts of any modifications that may be made to the vessel once certified.
Following the successful course we held on 7 May 2025, we are collating interest in holding another course, and once we have sufficient numbers we will look to run it again. Please register your interest here
