Practical In-Water Rescue Training for Marina Professionals

A fall into marina waters can quickly become a life-threatening emergency. Atlantic Crest’s In-Water Marina Safety Training equips marina teams with the practical skills, confidence and decision-making ability to respond safely and effectively.

The programme supports organisations in meeting their statutory health and safety responsibilities by ensuring staff have the appropriate knowledge, skills and competence to manage foreseeable water-related emergencies within the workplace.

Designed for marina operatives, harbour staff, dock workers and waterside teams responsible for customer and operational safety.

THE SOLUTION

Delivered by experienced water safety professionals, the programme combines realistic scenarios, practical rescue skills and instructor-led coaching to develop confidence in managing incidents within the marina environment.

Participants will develop the ability to:

  • Apply practical in-water rescue and safety techniques
  • Respond effectively to marina based water emergencies
  • Understand safe approaches to casualty management
  • Practise incident response scenarios in a realistic environment
  • Improve personal safety when working around water

The In-Water Marina Safety Training Programme is:

  • Endorsed by British Marine
  • Accredited by the Institute for Outdoor Learning (IOL)
  • Certificate of Competence issued to all successful participants

Course: Marina In-Water Qualification
Duration: 3.5 hours per course
Maximum group size: 6 participants per course

The course provides participants with practical marina in-water rescue skills, assessment and formal qualification certification. Certificates are endorsed by British Marine and the Institute for Outdoor Learning (IOL).

Member Cost for 2 courses on one day (2x 6 attendees) £1,730 +vat
