The HSE is launching a new research project to map AI's impact on health and safety across all our regulated industries. It will allow consideration of the risks and opportunities of AI use in industrial settings.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a rapidly evolving area. HSE is looking to develop a database of uses of AI in the workplace. To develop this database, they are undertaking a project to gather information of real-world examples of AI use, which could impact health and safety, across the industry sectors that they regulate.
“We would like your help by completing this survey to provide information on uses of AI, which could impact health and safety, that you are aware of being trialled or used in the industry sectors HSE regulates. We are keen to gather a wide range of AI uses to ensure the information collected is representative.”
The survey closes on 4 October 2024.
