The much-anticipated Honda Day celebration at the renowned Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli includes special attractions for boating enthusiasts this year with a dedicated Honda Marine stand and an exclusive opportunity to experience Honda’s flagship outboards out on the water.
At the event on Saturday, 5th July, Honda Marine, the leading global producer of high-performance outboard engines, will take centre stage alongside the on-track activities with a high-profile dual-location presence and boating specialists on-hand to offer advice and guidance.
Visitors will have the chance to participate in live sea trials onboard Honda-powered boats at the nearby Portoverde Marina Resort in Misano Adriatico. Test rides are available by appointment on the Altamarea 35, powered by twin BF350 engines, and the Ranieri International 275, featuring a single BF350.
Meanwhile, at Honda Marine’s stand at the paddock at the main Misano World Circuit venue, attendees will be able to view engine demonstrations and discover more from Honda experts about the leading technology behind the marine range. The on-site demos will feature: the T20 SE3 Honwave inflatable; BF 2.3; BF 40E; BF 150D; BF 250D.
The official Honda Marine dealer FONTI SNC DI FONTI MATTEO E C. will be present at both event locations, offering product information and brand support throughout the day.
Honda Marine and FONTI SNC representatives will be available for technical consultation and to answer questions from visitors about various topics, such as the fuel efficiency, maintenance and technology of the Honda marine range.
Sea trials on the BF350-powered boats at Portoverde Marina Resort are available by reservation only, with information and booking directly in the paddock at the Honda Marina booth during the event. After confirmation, participants can proceed to the dedicated quay in the port test area.
The BF350 is Honda Marine’s top-of-the-range V8 engine, created to deliver maximum power with impressive fuel efficiency. Suitable for various applications, from large pontoon boats to offshore boats, the BF350 offers boaters a range of features and functions found only on Honda outboards, with a sleek, elegant and practical design.
The Honda Day event is set to create a party atmosphere, bringing together the entire Honda family in a celebration of motorcycles and much more, with products showcased from all Honda divisions.
The famous track is entirely reserved for Honda Day activities on Saturday, 5th July, with eligible motorcycles granted track entry. The day will also feature special guests, including guest riders Johann Zarco and Somkiat Chantra, together with Team Principal Lucio Cecchinello, plus entertainment with a live DJ set by Mario Fargetta.
Other attractions include: Demo and Test Ride Zones; Offroad and Education, including a Young Riders School; the Classic Honda Section and the third Official Honda Italia Classic Rally; Media and Fan Experiences.
