Don't miss out! Marine Businesses urged to secure their place at the reimagined 2025 Southampton International Boat Show
6 May 2025

Confirm your stand and boat details before 16 May!

As exhibitor demand builds for the 56th edition of the Southampton International Boat Show, British Marine is calling on businesses across the marine industry to secure their exhibitor space now. With a number of key brands bringing more boats to the show and space in high demand, companies risk missing out on one of the most commercially important opportunities in the UK marine calendar.

Running from 19 -28 September 2025 at Mayflower Park, Southampton, the 2025 show promises an even greater experience for visitors and exhibitors alike. Featuring a brand-new layout, a new entrance at Mayflower Park, and several exciting new attractions.

Attracting over 100,000 visitors annually, from serious boat buyers to watersports enthusiasts — there’s never been a better time for marine businesses to showcase their latest products and innovations. Whether you’re launching new ranges, looking to clear your stockrooms, or targeting a new customer base, Southampton International Boat Show delivers outstanding sales opportunities across its extensive land and marina showground.

With c. 25,000 visitors coming specifically to buy a boat or gather purchase information, 71% planning to buy within the next 18 months, and over one-third are actively looking to purchase boat parts and accessories, according to independent research from Zing Insights* this is a high-intent audience that makes buying decisions at the show.

While it’s no surprise that on-water exhibiting space attracts significant interest  - with 75% of visitors making a point to visit the show’s purpose-built marina, it remains one of the event’s must-see attractions.

For brands wishing to increase their presence, showcase more vessels, or lock in a prime location ahead of final layout planning, the deadline to confirm stand and boat details is 16 May 2025.

The launch of a new trade ticket, to encourage greater business attendance, will offer even more networking and B2B engagement opportunities for exhibitors throughout the ten-day event.  Look out for full details coming soon.

“The Southampton International Boat Show is entering an exciting new era. We’ve reimagined the show to better meet the needs of both visitors and exhibitors—delivering more focused content, more engaging spaces, and greater commercial value. Demand is already strong, and we urge businesses to act fast to secure their preferred space and take full advantage of everything the 2025 show will offer.”

Among the exciting new attractions for 2025 are the new content zones that reflect the evolving priorities and passions of today’s boaters and marine consumers.

These include:

  • Angler’s Alley, a new area dedicated to the growing recreational fishing market.
  • The Boating Academy, offering hands-on skills, demonstrations and advice for beginners through to experienced skippers.
  • The Powerhub, showcasing the latest in performance boating, engines and technology.

A brand-new Green Innovation Showcase will spotlight cutting-edge sustainable marine technology, both on land and on the marina. With increasing interest from consumers, trade and government, British Marine is offering an incentive package to help forward-thinking companies exhibit in this important feature. Exhibiting costs may be subsidised for qualifying brands, subject to availability. Interested businesses are encouraged to email sales@britishmarine.co.uk to learn more.

The Southampton International Boat Show 2025 promises to set a new benchmark for the marine industry, offering ten days of innovation, inspiration, and on-water adventure. With layout planning set to finalise soon, marine businesses are advised to act fast to secure the right location, confirm vessel space, and maximise their visibility at the show.

“We are excited to be attending this year’s SIBS from our new location. The new location presented a fantastic opportunity to reset and invite our brand partner, Dometic, to join us on the neighbouring stand, further showcasing a united approach in delivering integrated power and air conditioning solutions. It’s also a milestone year for us as we celebrate our 30th anniversary, expand our range of sustainable power solutions, and reveal our refreshed brand identity. Our demonstration trailer has also undergone a revamp to showcase our new look and evolving product range. These developments mark the next step in our journey toward a more sustainable, future-focused power, climate control and water purification offering.”
