The Private View showcased four yachts, the Oyster 565, 595, 675 and 885 Series II, side-by-side. With hundreds of clients visiting the show, a series of expert-led masterclasses also offered insights into bluewater sailing topics, including ocean weather, sailing in high latitudes, downwind sail configurations and accessing remote, global adventure on board an Oyster.
Thursday 1 May saw the public announcement of the Oyster 805, an 80-foot superyacht inspired model, expected to launch in 2027. This latest innovation, designed in partnership with Humphreys Yacht Design, combines classic Oyster styling with innovative new features and configuration options that mark a bold new era of luxury, versatility and adventure.
In addition to the 805 reveal, CEO Ashley Highfield introduced the company’s latest developments, aimed at enhancing the Oyster ownership experience:
Earlier this year, Oyster announced a strong financial performance for FY 2024/25, marking a successful turnaround and return to profitability. The company’s latest financial results further confirm the momentum and continued growth.
Ashley Highfield, CEO of Oyster Yachts, said: “The launch of our Explorers Club, Bluewater Academy, and the Oyster 805 will open a world of adventure to new and existing owners, offering unparalleled opportunities to explore the most remote and extraordinary destinations across the globe. These initiatives are designed to empower our owners to embark on unforgettable journeys—whether they are seasoned sailors or new to the world of bluewater cruising.”
