British Marine is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for additional sector awards, including the British Marine Boat Retailers & Broker’s Association (BRBA), Boatbuilders Association (BBA), and Superyacht UK (SYUK).
Following the initial launch of nominations across other sectors, this next phase expands the opportunity for even more members to get involved in our brand-new Sector & National Awards programme—celebrating excellence, innovation, and leadership across the marine industry.
Launched in 2025, the awards journey began at the Inland Conference in November, where the first winners were revealed. Since then, nominations have been rolling out across British Marine’s sectors, building momentum towards the inaugural National Awards, which will take place at the Southampton International Boat Show (SIBS) 2026.
Sector winners will go on to represent their category on this national stage offering a powerful platform to showcase achievements to the wider industry.
What makes these awards unique is that they are led by members, for members. Businesses put themselves forward, and winners are decided through peer voting—ensuring the results truly reflect the talent and innovation recognised by industry professionals.

Members can submit nominations for one or multiple categories, providing a fantastic opportunity to highlight the people, products, and services driving the sector forward.

- Closing date for nominations for SYUK: 7 May 2026
- Eligibility: Open to full British Marine members only
- Voting: Conducted by members, with one vote per category per member
