Promotional Marketing Toolkit

Achieving CPBB certification demonstrates your commitment to professionalism, industry best practice and trusted client service within the marine industry.

To help you maximise the value of your qualification, both in generating new business opportunities and supporting your own professional development, we have created the following promotional toolkit for you to use.

Below are 5 simple ways to start leveraging your CPBB certification today.

Please note: CPBB certification recognises you as an individual professional and does not represent certification of your wider organisation. If you would like to discuss organisational representation or partnership opportunities, please contact training@britishmarine.co.uk.

1. Optimise Your LinkedIn Profile

1.1. Add the CPBB suffix after your LinkedIn profile name:

Example:
James Carter, CPBB

You should also include your qualifications within your LinkedIn headline:

Example:
Certified Professional Boat Broker (CPBB) | Managing Director, ABC Yachts

This helps position CPBB as part of your professional identity and immediately reinforces your expertise and credentials.

1.2 Add CPBB to Your Licences & Certifications

Add your CPBB qualification within the 'Licences & Certifications' section of your LinkedIn profile. This helps make your qualification more visible, searchable and professionally verifiable.

1.3 Announce Your Certification on LinkedIn

We strongly encourage you to publicly announce your certification on LinkedIn. This helps raise awareness of both your achievement and the CPBB programme, while also strengthening your professional profile. We also recommend asking your organisation and colleagues to repost, comment on and engage with your announcement to help maximise visibility and reach.

Suggested LinkedIn post copy:

The logos can be used across:

  • advertisements
  • client proposals and agreements
  • stationery and business cards
  • your company website
  • email signatures
  • showroom displays
  • window stickers
  • exhibition stands
  • social media graphics

Consistent use of the CPBB branding helps strengthen consumer recognition, reinforce professionalism and differentiate certified brokers from non-certified competitors.
