New figures released, by British Marine association Superyacht UK at the annual Monaco Yacht Show, show that Britain’s superyacht industry recorded its seventh year of consecutive growth in 2018/2019. The industry generated revenues rising to £660 million, representing an increase of 7.1% on last year.

The Department for International Trade (DIT) is running a number of Brexit-readiness events for exporters – Starting earlier this week, there are 100 events around England covering topics such as the impact to supply chains, changes to regulations and contracts, where to find tariff information, and what companies might need to speak to customers/employees about. Attendees will leave the event with a personalised plan of actions to take to prepare for Brexit.

The Workboat Code edition two was first released by the Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) in December 2018, The MCA has now published its first revision with basic corrections to the text. These corrections do not contain any technical changes.
