The 56th Southampton International Boat Show closed its doors on 28 September 2025 after ten spectacular days that cemented its reputation as the UK’s biggest and best celebration of life on the water.
Welcoming over 91,200 visitors, the show featured more than 500 watercraft, 700 brands, and a host of in, on and under water activities.
Over 50 world and UK debuts took centre stage, with standout launches from Fairline, Sunseeker, Princess Yachts, Oyster, and more, making Southampton a key platform for global boating brands.
Among the star attractions was Thunder Child II, one of the world’s most advanced wave-piercing powerboats, alongside an impressive line-up of featured vessels including the 52ft Outerlimits Good Boy Vodka and the Clipper 70.
Beyond the boats and on-water thrills, the show proved to be a vital meeting ground for the marine industry. From networking events and product launches to industry forums and speaker sessions, there was a full programme of B2B activities designed to support and strengthen businesses.
Whether discovering new suppliers, meeting potential partners, or exploring the future of the sector, Southampton was once again where the marine world came together.
Visitors embraced thrilling experiences such as sailing, paddleboarding, and high-octane stunt shows, while new feature zones — including The Cockpit, Powerboat Hub, and Explore Boating Zone — offered fresh ways to engage.
Celebrity guests, appearances from HRH The Princess Royal and Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, and a stunning display by the Red Devils all added to the spectacle.
With charitable support from the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity and a clear vision for the future, the event united newcomers, seasoned boaters, and industry leaders alike.
The Southampton International Boat Show will return for its 57th edition from 18–27 September 2026.
