Pay range: Between £24’000- £34’000 per annum dependant on experience plus benefits

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am- 5pm

Overtime: x 1.5 of hourly pay rate.

A busy Scottish based Leisure Marine Engineering Company has an immediate requirement for a Marine Heating Engineer / auto electrician with heating experience.

We are looking for an energetic, passionate, engineer who strives for perfection. They will have a get go and problem solving attitude. We are a team of 18 and we all turn our hands to whatever is required. Your primary position will be looking after marine heating repairs and installation both air and water heaters. Primarily Eberspacher and Webasto heaters. A good understanding of 12v /24v DC systems on all marine equipment is necessary. You will be confident working on your own and to your own schedule. Sailing or boating experience will be a major advantage.

Typical tasks include:

• Installation of Heating systems primarily Eberspacher.
• Heater servicing primarily Eberspacher.
• Fault finding in electrical systems ie. Pumps, motors, thrusters, battery chargers etc.
• Battery testing, replacement, battery equipment.
• Working with 12- 24V systems.
• Navigational instrumentation, CCTV Etc.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience working with Marine leisure craft from around 20- 75 Ft.
• Able to work with leading marine equipment manufacturers.
• Heating Engineering Qualification or time served apprenticeship with hands on experience.
• Able to read electrical schematics at a basic level.
• Keen to work in a fast paced environment.
• An ability to work on your own or as part of a team with an understanding of working to deadlines is essential.
• Full UK drivers licence
