The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) brings together professionals from the international luxury yachting sector from shipbuilders and designers to equipment suppliers, brokers and service providers. It's only yacht show exclusively devoted to superyachts of at least 24 metres in length.

ICOMIA’s representative to the IMO, Andy Williams is seeking to provide input into the Correspondence Group, in particular the 'pleasure yacht' guidelines and scope of application.

From 1 April 2019 at least one carbon monoxide (CO) alarm became a requirement on nearly all private and non-private boats in scope of the Boat Safety Scheme (BSS) Requirements. BSS Certifications will not be issued to boats without alarms.

Runners up, ABC Leisure Group, was also praised for its achievements at the award presentation which took place at the inaugural British Marine Expo, in association with HPi Verification Services in Southampton.
