UK-based position – working from home

£14 – £18 per hour negotiable based on experience, plus a generous profit-sharing scheme

As a dedicated international yacht delivery specialist, we are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Assistant Operations Manager.  The applicant will be working under the supervision of our Sales and Operations Director, helping to ensure an efficient and professional service is provided at all times.

Role responsibilities:

• Crew Allocation. Advertise specific opportunities and then assign the crew to the vessel. This will involve interviewing new personnel and checking references.

• Administration. Management of our crew database, ensuring records and contact details are up to date.  

• Customer Service. Setting up satellite trackers and ensuring effective communication between the crew and our client.

A highly motivated and professional individual with excellent organisational skills. You must be confident and personable with both clients and crew. You must be determined to deliver a quality of service that is second to none.

Skills:

• Strong educational background and IT proficiency.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

• Demonstrated commitment to outstanding customer service.

• Previous experience in secretarial or office management roles.

• A genuine enthusiasm for sailing.

The rewards for this position include a competitive basic salary along with a generous profit-sharing scheme. This is a part-time position (16 hours per week), offering flexible working hours and the benefit of working from home. During peak periods, there may be opportunities to work additional hours, with time off in lieu provided.

Although the position is primarily based ashore in the UK, you may also be required to travel to boat shows both nationally and internationally and will have the opportunity to sail some fantastic yachts to some exotic places.
