Job description:
Full time OR part time roles are available for someone to join our team responsible for carrying out all aspects of operation and maintenance of the award winning hire fleet of Narrowboats based at Napton Marina. Also may be involved with carrying out any service and work for jobs generated from the sales of all boat repair work, servicing and boatbuilding works.
This will also include dealing with customers on hire boat demonstrations.
This role is for a someone who is practical and will be able to assist in carrying out operational servicing of the hire fleet.
Maybe required to share the responsibility of carrying the Hire Fleet Emergency Telephone and answering/attending any service requests which may result. The job may also include travel for carrying out service calls and other work related tasks, and a clean driving licence must be maintained.
Will be required to work on Hire Fleet turnaround days which are currently Friday, Saturday and Monday throughout the season (March to October).
Responsible for ensuring that all necessary paperwork is diligently completed and records kept according to the standards defined. This will include time sheets and job sheets.
