Premier Marinas are seeking to recruit a Plant Mechanic / Engineer to join our Maintenance team.
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant displaying transferable skills from a similar discipline such as mechanic, forklift engineer or general engineering background to work on travel hoists, cranes, tractors and forklifts. A full UK driving licence is essential. This will be a varied role working in various locations across the South Coast.
Duties will include plant repairs, servicing plant and identifying any potential issues.

A good knowledge of the following is desirable but not essential as training, where required, will be given. In all cases we will support you to grow your skills and assist you to reach your potential:
• Experience of risk assessments and safe operating procedures in an outdoor working environment.
• Practical experience in the following areas: engines, hydraulic / pressure systems and mechanical systems.
• Skills using a range of hand held power tools including grinder would be an advantage.
This role includes working outdoors in all weathers and may occasionally require some weekend working and travelling to the majority of sites within the Premier Group.
