About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Yard assistant, developing into a trainee Crane Driver. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in the marine industry. Full training will be provided to help you progress into a qualified crane operator.

Key Responsibilities

·        Boat maintenance and cleaning

·        Antifouling and general boat maintenance

·        Assisting with the safe loading and unloading of boats

·        Supporting crane operations under supervision

·        Learning to operate mobile cranes safely and efficiently

·        General yard duties including organising equipment and materials

·        Carrying out daily equipment checks and basic maintenance

·        Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures

·        Assisting drivers and yard staff with deliveries and collections

Requirements

·        Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

·        Good communication and teamwork skills

·        Ability to work outdoors in a busy yard environment

·        Basic understanding of health and safety practices (training provided)

·        A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential
