The BMEEA Conference 2025

The BMEEA Conference 2025

The 2025 conference will be held on 5 February at an exciting new venue – the Southampton Solent University’s Warsash Maritime School in the heart of Southampton

Moving on from the single theme of this year’s edition, the BMEEA conference 2025 will instead cover a variety of subjects. To give you a flavour, and reflecting just some of the areas of interest close to the hearts of BMEEA members, we’ll be looking at the latest developments in Decarbonisation, Cyber-security, Financial planning, Training and Apprenticeships, Verification and certification standards, Autonomous vessels, System design considerations - with more to come.

The conference sessions are free to attend for BMEEA members with paid ticket access available for industry non-members. Cadets from Solent University and apprentices will join delegates for a panel Q&A session discussing careers both during and post time afloat.

Our conference is hosted by Warsash Maritime School as part of Southampton Solent University. The fantastic facilities will also give attendees the chance to tour the university’s virtual reality simulator suites.
