ISO, or the International Organization for Standardization to give it its full name, publishes standards on a vast range of subjects, including small craft (under 24m by ISO/TC188) and large yachts (over 24m by ISO/TC8/SC12).

British Marine represents the marine industry at each of these standards committees and the many working groups that fall under the control of the principal committees.
