Management Information & Power BI Analyst
Location Poole, Dorset
Opening Date 19 January 2026
Closing Date 25 January 2026

Who we are seeking

We are now seeking a Management Information & Power BI Analyst to play a key role in shaping and strengthening our management reporting landscape.

We are looking for a junior‑to‑mid level Power BI Analyst with solid hands‑on experience who is ready to take ownership of a live reporting environment and grow their capability in a real‑world, enterprise setting.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving how information is structured, presented and understood, and who wants to deepen their technical Power BI, DAX and data‑modelling skills without stepping into senior data engineering or enterprise architecture responsibilities.

You will be curious, methodical and detail‑oriented, with the confidence to work directly with stakeholders to understand business questions and translate them into clear, reliable and well‑designed reporting.

A Day in Life

In this role, you’ll spend your time working hands‑on in Power BI, rebuilding and improving existing reports while also developing new dashboards to support operational and management decision‑making.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across production, planning and workforce teams to understand reporting needs, validate data, and ensure Power BI is the single source of truth for management information. Alongside development work, you’ll be documenting models, DAX logic and report purpose, helping to create a reporting estate that is robust, transparent and easy to maintain.

You’ll have genuine ownership of what you produce, with the opportunity to see your work used daily across the business and to build a strong foundation for progression into more senior BI roles over time.

Example responsibilities include:

·       Owning and improving Sunseeker’s Power BI reporting estate by rebuilding and standardising reports

·       Developing robust data models and DAX measures ensuring Power BI remains the single source of truth for management information

·       Delivering accurate operational and KPI reporting to agreed timescales

·       Translating complex data into clear insights for stakeholders

·       Maintaining clear documentation

·       Assuring the quality and integrity of data used across all reports and dashboards

To be considered:

·       Practical, hands‑on experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI

·       Good understanding of data modelling concepts and DAX (including measures and calculations)

·       Experience working with structured data from operational or transactional systems

·       Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into meaningful insight

·       A logical, organised approach to documentation and maintainability

·       Confidence engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and explain outputs

·       A desire to learn, develop and progress toward more senior Power BI / BI Analyst responsibilities

Sunseeker offers:

  • Ownership of a live Power BI reporting estate
  • Exposure to end‑to‑end operational analytics within a complex manufacturing environment
  • Opportunity to deepen Power BI, DAX and data‑modelling expertise in a production setting
  • Clear development pathway toward Senior Power BI Analyst / BI Developer over time
  • List of Employee Benefits will be provided at the point of application
