Base salary plus commission

Based in Hamble

TBS Boats is an award winning boat company with one of the most successful boat sales operations in the South-East.  We have been established for over 25 years and are based in Chertsey and Hamble.

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join as a Yacht Broker at our Hamble Office.

We are looking for a talented and driven individual with excellent sales and communications skills with a willingness to listen and learn.

The role

·        Sales calling on a regular basis either to gain brokerage business or selling new boats arriving to the market.

·        Managing client expectations and helping set pricing for brokage boats.

·        Ensuring boat listings are accurate.

·        Inputting on required information onto the CRM system, ensuring up to date. Required to oversee all boat offers and purchasing process along with making sure all sales documents are completed.

·        Ensuring after sales client care.

·        Attending UK boat shows as directed by MD

·        Ad hoc duties as directed by Line Manager and MD.

·        Working a 7-day rota

Experience

·        Experience of working in boat sales or related industry with expertise with boats.

·        Sales experience

·        Excellent customer service skills

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·        Experience of working with a CRM system in a service driven business.

·        Ability to build relationships and gain customer confidence.

·        Ability to prioritise and work on own initiative.

·        Attention to detail.

·        Team Player
