Set to take place on the 25-26 May, World Boating Day 2024, is a groundbreaking new initiative designed to unite the global boating community through a series of local events, open days, and workshops, highlighting the joy and diversity of leisure boating.

What is World Boating Day?

World Boating Day is a non-profit, inclusive event aiming to make the leisure boating industry more accessible and engaging. By facilitating local events around the globe, it provides a unique platform for participants to showcase the vibrant world of boating to a broader audience. Whether you're part of a century-old shipyard, a curious student, an innovative design studio, or a passionate journalist, World Boating Day invites you to join in the celebration.

The inaugural edition of this initiative is being coordinated by The Superyacht Life Foundation, which officially launched it at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2023. To date, nine international organisations, including the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA), the International Superyacht Society (ISS), Superyacht Australia, the Asia-Pacific Superyacht Association (APSA), the European Boating Industry (EBI), the Boating Industry Association (BIA), the US Superyacht Association (USSA), and the Zeal Marinas Network, have pledged their commitment to this campaign.
