Representation - Supporting the Industry

British Marine is committed to providing first class support to all members through both national and international representation and the provision of business services.

We can help advise on all technical issues affecting recreational craft, from guidance and assistance on the Recreational Craft Directive and the use of ISO standards to guidance on manufacturing processes and up to date health and safety help.

Dependent on their size, passenger capacity and operational area, commercial craft may need to adhere to a number of national and international regulations. The Technical team can assist you in ensuring that you are working to the right code.

The superyacht market in the UK is one of our industry's great success stories. The Technical team runs the Superyacht UK Technical Committee to ensure our members are fully up to date with the right legislation and are aware of coming International rules, conventions and regulations that may affect their long term business planning.
