Getting back to business - Guidelines to the easing and ending of restrictions in line with the Governments Road Map
On the 22nd of February the UK government published its roadmap with key dates for the easing and ultimately ending restrictions placed on businesses and consumers due to COVID-19. Following discussions with DEFRA the marine industry has published a table to show how each of the sectors are affected by these dates, the full table can be seen on the COVID micro site landing page here and should be read in conjunction with the road map (found here) and the supporting SI's. It should be noted that all dates shown are subject to governmental review and can change. The dates in the road map only apply to England, for the devolved nations please see the devolved nations tabs on the right of the coronavirus landing page found here
To help our members we have updated the COVID-19 back to business guidance documents (downloadable at the bottom of this page) with the key dates for that sector and what they mean. You can also select the relevant sector tab to the right of this page for further information on how the road map dates tie into each sector.
Please find below British Marine's downloadable sectoral guidance. These have now been updated with a section at the beginning explaining how the key dates in the road map affect the restart of businesses.
Please note that there has been a subsequent update on the 11th of March 2021 which has yet to be incorporated in the sector guides, please ensure you use these guides along with the update as shown on the main page: Coronavirus, we will be updating the guides as soon as is possible.
